Join filmmakers from Pixar Animation Studios as they discuss Disney and Pixar’s SOUL, including the main character, Joe Gardner (voiceof Jamie Foxx). This includes the responsibilities they assumed to ensure authentic representations of diversity in New York City and how they also created a fantastical world we have never seen –The Great Before. In addition, meet some of the cultural consultants who helped bring Joe and his community to life.

Dario Calmese is a multidisciplined creative who recently made history as the first Black photographer to shoot a cover of Vanity Fair magazine. However, his work extends far beyond fashion and photography. An artist, writer, director and storyteller – Dario is also the creator and host of the Institute of Black Imagination podcast.
